Merchant Eligibility & Application
Who can apply for a PingBusiness merchant account?
Anyone - as an Individual (solo founders, entrepreneurs, independent builders) or a Company (any incorporated entity, including single-member companies). Solo builders do not need to set up a company before using PingBusiness.
Is KYB/KYC required to open a PingBusiness merchant account?
Yes. Every merchant completes identity or business verification - (Know Your Customer) KYC for individuals, (Know Your Business) KYB-style checks for companies with a quick approval process. This is what enables PingBusiness to operate without requiring you to have your own bank account or compliance infrastructure. Individual applicants go through a lighter, personal-identity version of this process as there is no need for a registered company to apply.

Why can't I get approved for a PingBusiness merchant account?
The most common reasons: incomplete or mismatched documentation, a product category on PingBusiness's prohibited list, a target market that includes a sanctioned jurisdiction, or details that can't be verified. Check your documents against the requirements above before applying to avoid delays.
Does PingBusiness check my account again after I'm approved?
Yes. PingBusiness runs ongoing screening and monitoring even after approval, not just at signup, as part of its anti-money-laundering and sanctions compliance. This can occasionally result in a request for updated information, or in a suspension if something no longer checks out.
How long does the application process take?
Filling in the application takes a few minutes. Review time happens swiftly and faster compared to traditional payment processors. Identity verification happens after submission, then your application enters PingBusiness's approval queue which takes at most a few hours.
What happens after I submit my application?
PingBusiness verifies your identity or business (KYC/KYB), checks your product and target markets against its eligibility rules. If all the information and supporting materials meet the requirements, PingBusiness will approve your application.
How will I know if my application is approved?
You'll be notified on the merchant account dashboard and via email once PingBusiness reviewed your application. Once approved, your dashboard unlocks fully and you can download payment package source codes, create storefronts, add products, and start accepting payments.
Can I edit my application after submitting it?
You may review and edit your application after logging in to your account.
Where do I get help if my application is stuck or rejected?
